Dimitrios Pantzoulas brings an immigrant’s work ethic and desire to serve to the race for state senate district 37. He was born to Greek immigrants who migrated to the U.S. in the early 1970s and started Yiannis Family Restaurant in Aliquippa. Dimitrios worked in the restaurant. It was hard work, but it planted the seed of entrepreneurship.

Today, Dimitri owns and operates several businesses including Décor Construction Group, Pittsburgh Contracting Network, Scoops & More in Oakdale, Pantzoulas Development, and Pittsburgh Financial Network.

Through his companies, he’s created more than 90 jobs, which is a responsibility Dimitri takes very seriously.

He’s also a dedicated community volunteer, previously serving as District Treasurer of the American Hellenic Progressive Association for the state of PA. He’s also a former member of the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department Reserve, Board Member for the local Boys and Girls Club and Lending Hearts, and continues to volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where he was nominated for Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest in 2012.
